The profile of our graduates is based on three strands: technological, business and human. 

Technological Area.-

• Know when and how different opportunities to perform the specific tasks of the traditional cultures of Central Coast and other crops with economic potential: soil preparation, planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, pesticide application, harvest and post-harvest management annual crops, and installation and routing of fruit orchards.
• Directs and performs tasks to prepare the ground before sowing or planting and growing up to work after you.
• Efficiently use water resources and meet the volume and timing of irrigation.
• Choose appropriately seeds (varieties and strains) and patterns, verifying their quality.
• Establishing the program and fertilization practices prior knowledge of soil characteristics or deficiencies in the plants.

• Select appropriate agricultural equipment (motorized or animal traction) for their use in soil preparation, planting, cultivation, etc., And has the right criteria to assess the work.
• The proper management of products at harvest and post harvest.
• Identify appropriate technologies for rural and circumstances in which to develop his professional work.
• Supports the establishment and conduct of field research in agriculture.
• Has basic knowledge of the cattle farm and others and decide the desirability and feasibility of joining the family business. Manages financial expertise on basic and complementary productive activities at the craft that enhance profitability of the family farm unit, beekeeping, dairy, drying of agricultural products, storage products, etc.

Business Area.-

• Use basic indicators that allow the farm profitable, making a proper production planning, and economic activities up to the family farm unit.
• Establishes the necessary costs involved in production of any crop.
• Identify and use appropriate financial channels and design budgets for the running of the family farm unit.
• Poses alternative solutions to various problems which may present the various agricultural activities.
• Properly managed the resources it has and generates the plot.
• Correctly analyzes the technical-economic situation of a farm unit and provides improvements to increase profitability.
• Design and production records and makes others inherent to a farm.
• Take required minimum accounting of agricultural unit.

Human and communication area.-

• Develop technology transfer activities.
• Convey technical and economic knowledge.
• Known to establish rapport with others in or outside their social and professional.
• Plans and conducts visits to the farms of small farmers in order to achieve a personal relationship with successful practical results.
• Designs and executes basic agricultural extension programs based on properly identifying the problems of a group of farmers.
• Activities necessary to develop a technical demonstration to farmers.
• Gives advice for effective results, from the standpoint of technical and human resources leading to improve the farmer's willingness to change.
• Promotes and guides the association of producers to improve their bargaining power and improve the profitability of their farms.
