  • The settlers of Cañete's valley keep strong cultural and social bows with the saw.
  • They possess agricultural plots with an average extension of 4 hectares for family.
  • The average family’s annual revenue is less than US$1000; and 58% of the children suffer from malnutrition, contributing to a high rate of infant mortality (76 for every thousand born).
  • Only 79% of the settlers have drinkable water, 51% possesses electrical outlets and 89% have electric power.


Nor Yauyos's Saw

  • The Population is of origin jaqaru and Quechua; in the majority of homes they devote themselves to the agriculture (69 %) and 100 % devotes to the ranching of subsistence.
  • The approximate extension of a familiar plot is a minor of a hectare.
  • The average family’s annual revenue is less than US$1000; and 58% of the children suffer from malnutrition, contributing to a high rate of infant mortality (76 for every thousand born).
  • 46 % of the homes possesses water, neither outlet nor system of illumination; 48 % is supplied of water in rivers, irrigation ditches or springs and 61 % does not have access to hygienic services.
  • Migratory flow is constant towards the coast, leaving 38 % of the local uninhabited housings.
