The Program of Medicinal Plants foments the cultivation and marketing of fragrant and medicinal plants so that way the Andean people of the zone can revaluate their application and improve their family income.
Hereby, activities such as training, technical assistance, processing and marketing are conducted; this is in addition to the fairs and school contests, among other activities.

Ecological production, processing and marketing
At the Program of Medicinal Plants we work to promote ecological conservation, interacting in harmony with the environment, with the practice of an organic agriculture practiced by each of the farmers. For this end, the Experimental Center of Medicinal Plants (CEPLAM) is used. It is a center located 2850 meters above sea level, in which investigation and the agronomic validation is realized, it is also a center of practical training for the farmers.
To develop organic agriculture so that the fields of medicinal plants promoted by Valle Grande obtain Skal International's Organic Certification and the training of the Association of Ecological Producers of Yauyos (APEY), shaped by farmers of the zone, which practice organic agriculture and produce medicinal herbs of exportation.
