Andean Cultivated Fields Program |

The Program of Andean Cultivated Fields is dedicated to the integral promotion of the Andean native cultivated fields. It allows for the recovery and preservation of biodiversity and also promotes the consumption of products like the oca, olluco and bruise, among others. These products tend to disappear from the diet of Yauyos's rural families and their inclusion will improve their food quality.
This program began in the 1980s with a project of potato’s' production for the domestic market. One works with potato’s seedbeds, the construction of improved stores, training in ecological management of plagues and diseases, among other activities.
